Forest Engineering by training, PhD, currently assistant professor in the Dept. of Natural Systems and Resources, Polytechnic University of Madrid. My main research interest is to improve the application of the theory of ecological systems to manage human actions on ecosystem functions and structures, focusing on river networks and animal communities; for their role as factors (functional elements) and indicators (sinks of information)
