- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
My research is focused primarily on understanding the ways in which currents, waves and turbulent mixing processes affect, and are affected by, ecological phenomena from plankton to seagrass meadows. I am particularly interested in the effects of spatial heterogeneity on the hydrodynamics and ecology of surface waterbodies. I am also currently working on the environmental impacts of offshore renewable energy installations, and approaches to ecosystem management that benefit both society and the ecosystems themselves.
